What’s The Best Way To Clean Windows?
What is the best way to clean your window? Cleaning windows can be done in a few simple steps:
Choose the Right Day
Avoid washing windows on a sunny day. Streaks can occur when the heat from direct sunshine dries the glass too quickly. You should do window cleaning in the early morning or after 4pm on a suitable day.
Remove Blinds and Curtains
Remove any window treatments when you start window cleaning. Once they are removed, you can clean the area surrounding the window frame's edges of cobwebs and grime with a duster, portable vacuum, or vacuum cleaner.
Prepare Cleaning Solution
Fill a bucket with warm water and add your cleaning solution. This might be a DIY solution like distilled white vinegar and water, or it could be a store-bought solution. Find out some home-made cleaners that Queenbee has shared
Clean the Window
Use a sponge or a soft cloth to apply the cleaning solution to the window. To stop drips, begin at the top and work your way down. It’s cleaner when you do from the top to the bottom
Use a Squeegee
After applying the cleaning solution, use a squeegee to remove it. Start at the top of the window and drag the squeegee down in a straight line. Continue doing this, being careful to overlap the previous stroke, until the full window has been squeezed out.
Dry the Window
Use a dry microfiber cloth to dry off any remaining water on the window. This will lessen the likelihood of streaks.
Remember, always follow the manufacturer’s instructions when using cleaning products or equipment. And don’t forget to clean the window sills and frames too!
